Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy is an evidence-based technique supported by scientific research that could enhance the success rates of fertility treatments, such as In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).  

Recent developments in research, particularly the work led by Professor Levitas and his team, have significantly bolstered the foundation for the services I offer. The study highlights a compelling link between hypnotherapy during the IVF process and markedly improved pregnancy outcomes. Of the 185 women who participated in Professor Levitas’s study, those who benefited from hypnotherapy during embryo transfer exhibited double the pregnancy rates of those who did not, with 28% achieving pregnancy compared to 14%.

Professor Levitas’s research underscores the negative impact of stress during this phase, which can induce minor contractions that may interfere with the embryo’s implantation process. Traditional stress-mitigation strategies, such as the use of relaxants and tranquillisers, have not shown as promising results as hypnotherapy, which offers profound and lasting relaxation benefits.
